Davichi Kpop released their new song Time Capsule

Davichi Kpop I will post about their new song, Time Capsule. The duo group Davichi is once again demonstrating their power as a K-pop powerhouse. They achieved their highest charting position in six years, since 2019.

Davichi's "Time Capsule" reached number 4 on the Melon Main Chart TOP 100 just one week after its release on October 16, 2025. This marks their highest charting position since they transferred to CAM in September 2024. It's also their highest charting position on the Melon TOP 100 since "To My Longtime Lover," released six years ago in December 2019.

At the time, "To My Longtime Lover" topped the Melon Main Chart. Her 2021 hit, "My First Love," which is considered her masterpiece, peaked at number 7 on the Melon TOP 100, and "Everyday Christmas" reached number 10 on the same chart. The title track "Don't Call It Love" from her first mini-album, "Stitch," released after switching agencies, peaked at number 26. While she consistently performed well as a K-pop powerhouse, she fell short of the power davich displayed in the 2010s. However, her latest release, "Time Capsule," has made up for this disappointment.

"Time Capsule" was written and composed by singer Lee Moo-jin, the 63rd contestant on the JTBC audition program "Singer Gain," where Lee Hae-ri was a judge. On October 19, 2025, a behind-the-scenes vlog of the song was released on Kang Min-kyung's YouTube channel, "걍밍경." In the video, which captures the recording process, including receiving vocal direction from producer Lee Moo-jin, Lee Hae-ri and Lee Moo-jin interact as singers and producers, not as judges and contestants.

While embodying Lee Moo-jin's signature lively vibe, "Time Capsule" is praised for showcasing the strengths of Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung. This is thanks to Kang Min-kyung's sweet low-end tone and luscious falsetto, along with Lee Hae-ri's remarkable vocal control and explosive high notes. The chorus begins on E4 and fluctuates wildly, reaching F4. This melody is difficult for the general public to sing along to in karaoke, but it can actually be a challenge. It's worth watching in Korean karaoke rooms.

Netizens commented on X: "The kid being judged is giving the judges a song. It's heartbreaking to hear the older sisters who told me never to cheat again ask me what kind of adult I've become now that I'm an aunt," and "It was great that they tried to assassinate Lee Moo-jin (in a high voice), but the older sisters did it again." The song received rave reviews.

This is Davichi Kpop I posted about their new song, Time Capsule. I personally really like Davichi Kpop. I hope it's a joy to many people's ears. Fighting!!
